2023 - Multi Faith Chapel elevated by Iliyan Kuzmanov completely Destroyed
In Pazardzhik, Bulgaria, on Christmas Eve in 2023, a religious monument was demolished - a multi faith chapel erected in 2020 by Ilian Kuzmanov, local representatives of Christian Denominations and the mayor of Pazardzhik, Todor Popov. The act of vandalism is part of the numerous threats and abuses Iliyan has been subjected to in Pazardzhik. The 300 kg religious temple was dismantled and completely destroyed. The crime remains unsolved to this day, although the President of Bulgaria personally intervened to solve the case.
Why multi faith chapel? Because such an inclusive interfaith centre was a key part of The Angel Social Group's project with the prison system in Bulgaria. Where religious centers are reduced to Orthodox Christianity, neglecting all other religions and denominations.
The chapel was located in the heart of Pazardzhik, giving faith and hope to thousands of people. It was consecrated by the Archpriest Vicar of Pazardzhik.
The dedication took place in the presence of the mayor of Pazardzhik Todor Popov. It was approved by the chief architect. Project of the famous Bulgarian sculptor Leon Babachev. The chapel was part of the opening of the personal library of the founder of the modern Bulgarian constitution Ginyo Ganev, also owned by me and available in the Public Cultural Center Ezoligentsiya, which I made available to the citizens of Pazardzhik from 10.10.2019.
The chapel was not only popular with the locals, it welcomed many guests and was a place of great interest.
Bulgarian President Rumen Radev sent a letter to the Pazardzhik City Hall to find out what happened, to provide information, and to deal with the restoration:

After receiving the letter from the President of the Republic of Bulgaria in Pazardzhik, the only official response was from the District Governor Trendafil Velichkov (ex leader of the Bulgarian Youth Communists). A person with obvious homophobic and radical orthodox positions. A political figure who has radical positions and has been instrumental in the development of Russian influence in the region. In fact, what he did was to cover up the crime by accusing The Angel Social Group and its founder Iliyan Kuzmanov of trying to undermine the good image of Bulgaria. All authorities have been alerted, the main motive being that the English NGO group is a threat to Bulgaria's National Security! Why? What was he trying to cover up? What is going on in Pazardzhik?

Why can you call a chapel Satan's creation and destroy it? - The reasons could be many, in addition to this being a major refrain of Putin's propaganda machine. Valid reasons could be, helping immigrant children from Afghanistan and even dedicating a book to them. fighting misinformation and COVID antivaxxer hysteria, talking about corruption, fighting human trafficking and drug production, writing books that are considered LGBT propaganda. To fight and speak through media about anti-Semitism and Islamophobia in Bulgaria. The reasons are many and all legitimate, but important are the people who tried to cover up everything that had happened.
In response to this Hate Crime , THE ANGEL SOCIAL GROUP created the HYBRID CREPOST project aimed at demonstrating what other-minded, pro-democratic and alternative people and projects are being subjected to in the Bulgarian province.
